Achieving Success: The Success Triangle

Many people wish they were more successful than they are and some even spend a lot of money on programs that promise wealth and richness. Some people succeed while others are stuck and cannot get he break they need. It’s important to realize that your success and failure in life is a by-product of your thinking. Since childbirth you’ve accumulated many do’s and don’ts from family, friends, teachers, and anyone you’ve come in contact with over the years.

The good news is that you don’t have to be stuck. You just need to learn that success is achieved through three components: beliefs and attitudes, techniques, and behaviors. These three items form the success triangle and when applied correctly, a person will experience success with whatever they are trying to achieve.

Success starts with a healthy mind. The biggest asset you’ve been given is the space between your two ears, your brain. From there, it’s up to you to feed it, nurture it, and develop it into a tool that will make you happy and successful in life. How do you go about developing a healthy mind? Let me start to help you by saying that attitude is everything in life. If you have a negative attitude most of the time, you probably experience many challenges and frustrations in life. You’re also not as happy as you could be and therefore, not living life to its fullest. Work on changing your attitude by taking inventory of the negative talk you do on a daily basis. This negative talk becomes reality at the subconscious level of your brain. Try to refrain from talking negatively to yourself as well as others. Second, write down several positive affirmations and read them first thing in the morning and right before bedtime. The affirmations should be positively geared statements that you belief.   Belief is just as important as attitude. You must believe in your ability to succeed.  The affirmations work to reprogram the subconscious mind to think more positively.

Third, begin looking at problems as opportunities to make money. The bigger the problem, the more money you can make. While other people are running away from problems because they don’t like conflict, you’ll be running toward them to investigate and see if there is an opportunity for you. The list doesn’t stop here. These are just three easy steps that anyone can put into action. Repeating these steps over the course of 30-45 days will create some new habits but also begin the process of reprogramming your subconscious mind by flushing the negativity and replacing it with positive characteristics.

Now that you’ve worked on your mentality, it’s time to learn techniques. Most major self-help programs teach technique. As a professional coach, I teach people how to make money in an up or down stock market as well as how to more safely invest in real estate that provides positive cash flow. These teachings do not guarantee success. Again, the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors must also be present. Techniques can be the easier of the three components to learn. You just need a good coach or mentor to help you through this step.

As a final step, you need to take your techniques and turn them into behaviors for success. In other words, you need to practice the techniques you’ve been taught until you are proficient with them and they are leading you to success. For example, someone who learns how to trade stocks will need to practice the process of buying and selling stock until they become proficient. Once proficient, they will begin making money and can then consider themselves successful.

In closing, I want everyone reading this article to realize that you have everything you need to experience success. It’s just a matter of changing your mentality and bringing what you’ve already been given to the surface so you can begin to use it in a productive and meaningful way. Don’t try to do transform yourself but instead, hire a coach to help drive you forward. If you’ve never been coached before, you’re in for a great experience!

Wishing you all the very best life has to offer!
